Bio

Michelle M. Wilcox 

2007 marks the beginning of Michelle's 27th year of teaching! She has a masters degree in curriculum and instruction and has taught in the states of Iowa, Illinois, and Tennessee teaching grades kindergarten, first, third and fourth grades. Michelle also taught elementary art for four years. Michelle is currently taking classes through Middle Tennessee State University in the EdS. program. This will be her third year wearing the technology coach's hat and she looks forward to working with the teachers and staff of Bel-Aire, Farrar, and East Lincoln Elementary Schools.

Michelle lives on a forty-two acre farm in Lynchburg, Tennessee with her husband Dan and seven dumpster dogs. Their daughter, Michaela, is presently living and working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Michelle is very active with Komen Race for the Cure and has organized team participation in the annual event in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She recently participated in a 60 mile, Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk in Boston, Massachusetts.     

Michelle's favorite quote is from Abraham Lincoln: "I do the very best I know how; the very best I can. And I mean to keep on doing so, until the end."

She believes learning is a life-long journey and we should never stop. Her mission is to extend her love of learning to others the very best she can.
